VFX Artist Level III - Cloud Imperium Games

  • Realtime effects created with the in-house engine. Created textures that suited the needs of the specified tasks (which varry from ships to environments). 

  • Created VFX for multiple ship released, which involved thrusters, destruction, damage of both internal and external, shielding, atmoshpheric enty, and quantumn travel.

  • Created various location FX within the Star Citizen Universe (environment FX)

  • Collaborated with the environment team to re-work multiple areas of the Star Citizen Universe

Sept 2020 - Feb 2021

  • Realtime effects in a stylized workflow. FX were created by hand painted textures, modeled FX related geometry, and created & scripted shaders/post-processing assets for the game.

  • FX mostly consisted of Spells and Post processing.

  • Games: Smite, and Paladins

Associate FX ARTIST - Hi-Rez Studios

April 2017 - April 2020

  • Created FX for various character skins for both Smite, & Paladins. 

  • Realtime effects art in a hand-painted,  and stylized workflows. Generated and hand painted textures, modeled FX related geometry, created & scripted shader assets for in-game and lobby use, optimized assets for in-game performance.

  • Created master material shaders for Post Processing and on screen UI material effects both Smite & Paladins

  • Took part in tasks within the environment team, created multi-use master material shaders and material functions in use on multiple skins of the game paladins.
